Banana Plug

The Banana Plug is a male connector of the connector interface.
It can be locked with the banana socket/female/binding post.
Usually it is the intermediary between the cable and the device to transmit the signals.
The banana plug is used for a power amplifier to transmit the signal to the
speaker of the single conductor cable connector in the audio field.
The simple plugging design and single conductor structure makes the
banana plug a common connecting interface for testing cables and
devices in electronic measuring equipment.

香蕉插是一連接器介面的公端，對鎖件為香蕉座，
通常作為線材前後兩端的介面，用來連接設備傳遞訊號。
在音響領域裡是應用於後級(Power)擴大機傳遞訊號至揚聲器的單導體
線纜連接器，其簡易的插拔設計及單導體結構使得香蕉插也常見於
電子量測設備，作為測試用線材與設備的連接介面。


The banana plug interface diameter is a 4mm of the cylinder, and the length is
about 1.50 ± 3.0mm (each region has different lengths).
On the structure reinforcement of insertion force, it will usually have a vertical spring
bulge out on the body to use against the plugging after it inserts into the
banana socket/female/binding post so it won’t become loose easily.
After inserting the banana plug, the spring will touch the inner body and it will reduce the
contact resistance. There are various different designs of banana plugs and most of them follow the
principles above. Polarity commonly distinguishes between
red color (positive pole) and black/white color (negative pole).

在介面尺寸上是一直徑約4mm的圓柱，長度約15.0+-3.0mm(各地區採用不同長度)，
在插拔力的結構強化上，常見以縱向彈片以凸出外徑的方式，
在公母配合後提供額外的插拔抵抗，使其不易鬆脫，
也因彈片緊貼於配合件內徑而使接觸電阻降低。
其他變體介面的設計相當多樣，但也大多遵循上述原理。
在極性分色上常見以紅色(正極)及黑色或白色(負極)區分。



Structure Classification:
1.Stackable : The whole structure can be connected with more than 2 pieces of
banana plugs through the rear end or horizontal/bilateral opening.
2. Double : There are 2 banana plugs that are parallel connected through a
plastic bridge (There is a 19.0mm space between 2 banana plugs).
3. Screw type: To secure the cable and the connector by screws.
4. Clamp type: To lock the cable by rotating the shell of connector.

特徵說明：
1.Stackable：可堆疊香蕉插，於末端(rear end)、橫向或雙向開孔(4.0mm)，
使其整體結構能夠讓兩個以上的香蕉插串接應用。
2.Double：雙香蕉插是指兩個香蕉插平行，間距約19.0mm，
中間以塑膠外殼固定的連接器。
3.screw cable：透過螺絲固定線纜與連接器
4.clamp cable：旋轉連接器部件即可鎖固線纜
